The Highland Park Cinema Club is proud to showcase the student-made short films submitted into its second-ever film festival.

All seven films showcased were created by students attending either Highland Park Middle School or Highland Park High School, to both showcase their filmmaking skills as well as compete for the top prize in the festival.

We want to first and foremost thank all seven of the fantastic students that submitted a film to the festival this year. We also wanted to thank Samuel Standridge for being a person of guidance, as well as being a great faculty advisor. The placement of the top three films in the festival was decided by discussion and voting of the HPCC's members.

In first place was voted "Feeling You" by Ainsley Wiseman. In second place was voted "Isolated" by Mina Chacko. In third place was "background noise" by Mckinley Meece. We would also like to give an honorable mention to the film “Oscar Awards” by Mckinley Meece.

Congratulations to the three winners, as well as the rest of the fantastic entries.

We hope you enjoy each of these student-made shorts.

Thank you.
